Facebook has changed my
life live too .
Before I know her I was ignoring a lot of good things , she learn me a lot , give me a lot of her time … and I am proud today to write about that women , who change my thinking , and give me hope to complete .
She  started working in the press in 2005, at a
late stage of her  life (34 years) according to
her words , because she  spent 10 years of her  life raising three young kids, Suddenly she got
divorced  , and has banned of viewing her  kids….. men any way .
At this time her parents
were died, she  had no income or place to
live in (except being a guest here or there).
She  started working as a journalist, although , she was diligent and distinguished, but her salary at the time -
and for a period of two years - was 500 Egyptian pounds per month (about 71
U.S. dollars), which was not enough to cover her  expenses monthly in any way .
The beginning
In 2007, she  first know about Facebook and began from which
to find the whereabouts free training courses to improve her skills, and she could
get the ICDL, and a number of English courses that have contributed to raising
the professional career.
opportunity
Later, she  moved to work in some Websites with deferent
salaries degrees, until  she  found an Facebook announcing that the Shorouk
website is about to create new team work, this was an excellent opportunity for
her  to work in one of the biggest names
of the press in Egypt.
She  has been accepted, and kept on working there
for two years, and was promoted to the top management position at the site
(after the editorial director), a "Shift Manger, and the head of the
Disk."
2011, was the next step in her
career life ,  when she  became the “Editor-in-Chief" for “Noreed”
website, which has been working to spread political awareness among youth
through a large number of activities, and had a very large Fan page on Facebook
(counted more than 750 thousand fans) which played a major role in spread the
news, competitions and seminars that we held at this time.
In the meantime, she  found another opportunity through Facebook,
when “BBC Media Action” declared it’s need to "Mentor" journalists
from Egypt to work on the project "The EU Media Neighborhood
program", which she was so lucky to work with.
Also she
volunteering with the Microsoft program in Egypt, "Aspire Woman" , She
is my mentorship in Aspire women programe, I met her cosidenly in
one of our meeting
She told me once ''I try to
 transfer professional and life experiences
to young ambitions ladies, and the most important way we communicate together
is ' Facebook ' ''.
Her  career progress significantly also by a large
number of workshops and training courses that I knew through specialized pages
on Facebook, like "Reuters", "GIZ", "BBC" and
much more.
Because she  appreciate the effect of Facebook on her life,
In 2009 I created a Group and Fan page on Facebook named "Journalism
Work" which I use to announce training opportunities, job vacancies,
conferences, events that in the interest to journalists, and this page enabled
large number of journalists to change their lives and develop their skills, and
it also helped others to work in press, even though they had never thought
about the possibility of being journalists before.
Now time, she  intention to focus on the training of
journalists through the experiences that she have collected over the years, and
certainly Facebook will be the most important way to announce and spread the
word about these courses.
Facebook, also has given her
the opportunity to expand her professional and personal relationships, and it
allowed her to observe the reactions of all belonging to different political
and religious currents in Egypt, through friends and various pages.
Facebook has transferred  Sally msahly  from a despaired mother and housewife without
any income to a successful international journalist.
